Simplify, align and improve efficiency is the objective of Onware’s new 9.29.0 enhancements
The wording of the Change action buttons has been updated to simplify and align the Change status terminology more closely with other Onware documents.
Projects utilizing the “Owner Approval” setting will notice enhancements, improving the efficiency of the Change to Change Order workflow.
As of 9.29.0, an Action Item is triggered for Contract Administrators when a Change is Approved. Using the “Close” or “Close & Create CO” action buttons, Contract Administrators can efficiently and easily transition the Change, as necessary
In addition, Changes in the status of “Issued” and “Approved” will now display in the Contract Administrator’s Project Summary.
How these enhancements may affect you and/or your project:
Projects not using “Owner Approval” workflow:
- All Changes in the status of “Issued” prior to 9.29.0 will automatically be updated to the status of “Closed” upon 9.29.0
- All E-mail Subscriptions for Change in the status of “Issued” will be updated automatically to “Closed” upon 9.29.0
Projects using “Owner Approval” workflow:
- Changes in the status of “Approved” prior to 9.29.0 will not receive an Action item. An Edit link will be available from the Change Search page to allow Contract Administrators to “Close” or “Close & Create CO”
